As we mourn the life of George Floyd, we are in solidarity with those in the streets in Minneapolis and the Black liberation movement that is working to destroy white supremacy, abolish the police and free us all.

Monday night, George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police. This brutal killing follows the death of Breonna Taylor in her bed at the hands of police in Louisville, Kentucky, the murder of Ahmaud Arbery in a Georgia suburb, the heinous actions of Amy Cooper in Central Park and centuries of police abuse and violence targeted against Black and communities of color.
